Summary
The Facilities Maintenance & Plant Support Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and professional facility while providing general support to plant and warehouse operations. This position performs custodial services, grounds maintenance, waste management, material handling, and facility support activities to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and a positive environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
Facilities Maintenance
Clean and mop facility floors, offices, common areas, warehouse areas, and production support spaces.
Operate floor scrubbers and other janitorial equipment to maintain facility cleanliness.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, locker rooms, and other employee areas.
Empty trash receptacles throughout the facility and ensure waste is properly disposed of.
Operate cardboard balers and other waste-handling equipment safely and effectively.
Consolidate waste and recycling materials and transport them to designated dumpsters.
Maintain inventories of janitorial, cleaning, and facility supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
Assist with snow removal, salting, lawn care, landscaping, and other grounds maintenance activities.
Support contractors performing facility and grounds maintenance activities.
