With a strong emphasis on project management, this position is responsible for supporting facilities engineering activities related to the New Flyer Winnipeg plant and the New Flyer Facility Council. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Creates business cases and develops costing forecasts.
Prepares budgets based on project scopes and adheres to budgetary allocations.
Reviews and manages lease negotiations for North American Bus and Coach facilities.
Ensures accurate CAD layouts for all company facilities are maintained.
Manages facility improvement projects.
Specifies and facilitates capital and equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications.
Implements and facilitates lean manufacturing initiatives.

Promotes an environment of safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
