Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Facilities Engineer based in Doha, Qatar.
The Facilities Engineer will oversee facilities operations, manage maintenance schedules, and carry out preventive maintenance.
The role involves troubleshooting issues, ensuring all systems are running efficiently, and collaborating with stakeholders to maintain optimal facility performance.
The Facilities Engineer will play a key role in contributing to the workspace functionality and meeting project objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficient in project planning and scheduling systems used for developing, monitoring, and controlling detailed project schedules, such as Primavera
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in shift allocation, schedule coordination, and performance evaluation
- Proficient in design and technical engineering tools, including CAD software and advanced modeling systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on developing efficient and practical engineering solutions
- Solid experience in project management, including planning, tracking, and reporting to ensure timely project delivery
- Knowledge of quality control procedures, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient in Facilities Engineering and Facilities Operations
- Strong expertise in Facility Management (FM) and troubleshooting
- Experience in implementing and overseeing preventive maintenance programs
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
- Experience in large-scale commercial or industrial facilities is an advantage
