Position Overview
The role focuses on accurate project pricing, cost control, tender preparation, technical proposals, and competitive quotations for metal fabrication work.
The work covers steel, aluminum, and MEP-related products, including doors, handrails, structures, access systems, windows, curtain walls, partitions, cable trays, enclosures, and racks.
Estimation and Tendering
- Analyze RFQs, drawings, bills of quantities, and specifications.
- Prepare detailed estimates and commercial and technical quotations.
- Conduct accurate material take-offs for fabrication projects.
Costing and Validation
- Calculate materials, fabrication labor, finishing, overheads, logistics, contingency, and margin protection.
- Verify market availability, local sourcing or import feasibility, material thicknesses, and technical specifications.
- Prevent quotations based on unavailable profiles, incorrect specifications, or unrealistic client commitments.
