The Opportunity
EY is seeking a FAAS Manager responsible for the timeliness and quality of work for project requirements.
The role requires strong accounting knowledge under IFRS and US GAAP and experience leading period-end close and financial reporting activities.
Record to Report Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual book close, financial close, consolidation, journal entries, allocations, adjustments, and intercompany accounting.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, process eliminations, perform variance analysis, and provide commentary.
- Perform fixed asset and capital project accounting, including depreciation, transfers, revaluations, maintenance, and capitalization.
- Create project account codes and monitor capital projects, budgets, closure, and capitalization.
Team and Client Delivery
- Lead a team of 6–10 members, including engagement PMO activities, work review, hiring, learning paths, and mentoring.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders and ensure KPI, SLA, quality, escalation, and client service requirements are met.
- Prepare SOPs and end-user training materials and manage client requests, deliverables, and expectations.
- Support client relationship development and Senior Manager business development activities.
