About the Role
Impronics Technologies seeks an F5 VELOS Implementation Engineer to lead the architecture, deployment, and migration of next-generation ADC hardware platforms. The role includes configuring F5 VELOS chassis, partitioning assets, and migrating legacy workloads.

Responsibilities
- Perform initial physical setup, hardware deployment, and configuration of F5 VELOS System Controllers
- Establish baseline management networking infrastructure (floating management IPs, DNS, NTP, AAA/LDAP)
- Create and manage isolated chassis software partitions, allocate blade resources, specify interfaces, and map HA requirements
- Import tenant software images, configure VLANs, and provision BIG IP microservice instances
- Plan and execute migrations of existing network workloads from legacy F5 VIPRION systems to VELOS hosted virtual environments
- Configure core traffic services inside tenants (LTM, GTM/DNS, APM, Advanced WAF)
- Optimize high throughput Layer 4–7 traffic, SSL/TLS offloading, and hardware accelerated encryption
- Draft High Level Designs (HLD), Low Level Designs (LLD), migration manifests, and configuration backups
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of dedicated network engineering or deployment experience focused on F5 solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or equivalent technical field
- Proven engineering experience with F5 VELOS CX Series platforms or F5 rSeries appliances
- Deep configuration knowledge of F5OS and its microservices based architecture
- Hands on experience deploying BIG IP software modules (LTM, DNS/GTM, APM, Advanced WAF)
- Strong scripting background writing advanced F5 iRules or Local Traffic Policies
- Mastery of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, L2/L3 routing, VLAN trunking)
- Familiarity with container orchestration concepts (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Expertise in traffic capture diagnostics using tcpdump, Wireshark, and F5OS logging

Job Summary
- Seeking an F5 VELOS Implementation Engineer to lead architecture, deployment, and migration of next generation ADC hardware platforms.
- Responsible for end to end delivery of F5 VELOS chassis systems, including configuring F5OS, partitioning chassis assets, and migrating legacy workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Chassis Initialization: Perform initial physical setup, hardware deployment, and configuration of F5 VELOS System Controllers using CLI and setup wizard.
- Platform Configuration: Establish baseline management networking infrastructure including floating management IPs, DNS, NTP, and AAA/LDAP authentication.
- Chassis Partitioning: Create and manage isolated chassis software partitions. Allocate blade resources, specify interfaces, and map HA requirements.
- Tenant Deployment: Import tenant software images, configure VLANs, and provision specialized BIG IP microservice instances.
- Workload Migration: Plan and execute migrations of existing network workloads from legacy F5 VIPRION systems to VELOS hosted virtual environments.
- Module Management: Configure core traffic services inside individual tenants including LTM, GTM/DNS, APM, and Advanced WAF.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize high throughput Layer 4–7 traffic, SSL/TLS offloading parameters, and hardware accelerated encryption.
