- Ensure staff work as a team to provide optimum service and meet guest needs
- Inspect grooming and attire of staff and rectify deficiencies
- Complete opening and closing duties including setting up supplies and cleaning
- Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO, and cleanliness
- Complete scheduled inventories and requisition supplies
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well being
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and coaching employees
- Follow company safety and security policies and report accidents
- Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members
Requirements
- Experience in food and beverage supervision
- Ability to inspect grooming and attire of staff
- Knowledge of FIFO and inventory procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
