Position Summary

F&B Service Expert (Hostess) role in food and beverage service at a Ritz-Carlton property in Doha.

The position is non-management and scheduled full time.

Guest Service and Seating

Greet guests, determine party size, and seat them at clean, available tables.
Provide menus, pull out chairs, arrange place settings, and assist guests in the dining rooms.
Organize tables, chairs, and seating for groups with special needs.
Monitor seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being.

Dining Room Standards

Ensure each guest has a napkin, clean silverware, and all standard place-setting items.
Check that menus are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free.
Maintain clean work areas throughout the day using clean-as-you-go procedures.

Safety and Professional Conduct

Follow company safety and security policies and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
Complete required safety training and certifications, maintain a professional appearance, and protect confidential information and company assets.
Use clear, professional language, answer telephones appropriately, and support positive teamwork and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
No related work experience or supervisory experience is required.
No license or certification is required.

Physical Requirements

The role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
The role requires moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Schedule and Workplace

The position is full time and based at the property in Doha, Qatar.
The role is not remote and requires physical presence in the dining operation.
