Role Overview

Provide courteous and professional restaurant hosting at The St. Regis Abu Dhabi.

Support an elegant guest experience by greeting, seating, and assisting restaurant guests.

Essential Functions

  • Seat guests promptly at tables prepared for the party size and guest preferences.
  • Set up the host or hostess stand, review reservations, recommend room setup, and maintain station charts and cover counts.
  • Answer telephones, take reservations, and provide information about restaurant and hotel services.
  • Anticipate guest needs, respond to inquiries or problems, and recognize regular guests by name.
  • Inspect daily menus and maintain their quality, condition, and appearance.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials.
  • Coordinate reservations and seating efficiently, courteously, and professionally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • One year of related work experience as a hostess in a luxury hotel.

Schedule

  • Full-time schedule.

Workplace

  • On-site position at The St. Regis Abu Dhabi in Nation Tower, Corniche, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
