Role Overview
F&B Service Expert position in the Food and Beverage & Culinary department at St. Regis Abu Dhabi.
The role is full time and non-management, with responsibilities centered on luxury guest dining service.
Service Responsibilities
- Deliver food from the kitchen to guests accurately and on time.
- Greet and escort guests, present menus, explain menu items, and provide recommendations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS ordering software and communicate them to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages while maintaining temperature, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
- Anticipate guest needs, respond to concerns, and check guest satisfaction.
- Upsell additional products and make suggestions based on guest preferences.
Preparation and Cleaning
- Clear, clean, and set up tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, and silverware.
- Stock linens, china, silverware, and food items for service.
- Break down, clean, and set up buffets and food stations.
- Inspect dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report problems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of work experience in the food and beverage department of a luxury hotel is preferred.
- EFST certification is preferred.
Workplace and Schedule
- The position is based at Nation Tower, Corniche, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
- The schedule is full time and the position is not remote.
