About the Role

Provide food and beverage service as an F&B Service Expert at The St. Regis Abu Dhabi.

Support an exceptional guest experience in a luxury hotel environment.

Guest Service

  • Greet and escort guests to tables according to St. Regis standards.
  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to concerns and requests.
  • Present menus, explain portions and ingredients, discuss potential food allergies, and inform guests about daily specials.
  • Recommend menu items based on guest preferences and upsell additional products when appropriate.

Food and Beverage Operations

  • Deliver food from the kitchen to guests accurately and on time.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using POS ordering software and communicate order details to the kitchen.
  • Serve food and drink orders while ensuring hot food is hot and cold food is cold.
  • Check customer identification to confirm minimum age requirements for alcoholic beverages.
  • Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report problems.

Setup and Stocking

  • Clear, clean, and set up tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, and silverware.
  • Stock linens, china, glassware, silverware, and food items for service.
  • Break down, clean, and set up buffets and food stations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of work experience in a luxury hotel F&B department is preferred.
  • EFST certification is preferred.

Work Standards

  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Adhere to timing standards for products and services.

Schedule

  • Full-time schedule.

Workplace

  • On-site hotel position in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
