Role Overview
The F&B Service Associate provides excellent food and beverage service to guests.
The role supports smooth and efficient restaurant, banquet, and room-service operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests professionally and take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Explain menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
- Serve food and beverages according to hotel and service standards.
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and presentation.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar for timely service.
- Check guest satisfaction and handle requests, complaints, and service issues.
- Operate the POS and billing system and follow cash-handling and payment procedures.
- Maintain restaurant and service-area cleanliness and hygiene.
- Refill condiments, cutlery, crockery, and other service items.
- Assist with buffet setup, banquet functions, conferences, and special events.
- Maintain grooming standards, wear the prescribed uniform, and assist with outlet opening and closing.
- Support the Supervisor or Restaurant Manager, promote additional items, and work cooperatively with colleagues.
Role Requirements
