F&B Banquet Supervisor

encompasses supervising banquet staff, coordinating events, and maintaining exceptional guest experiences.

• Lead banquet service operations, including setup, execution, and breakdown
• Coordinate with kitchen team for banquet menu execution and timing
• Train, coach and mentor banquet servers and support staff
• Assist in supervising the restaurant operations as needed
• Model exemplary customer service and problem resolution
• Support event planning and execution with sales and events team
• Monitor banquet labor costs and maintain budgets
• Manage banquet inventory and supplies
• Enforce cash handling and service policies
• Maintain health and safety compliance
• Communicate effectively regarding event details and guest feedback
• Perform hands-on duties including serving, setting up conference rooms, and supporting restaurant service when required

• Event planning experience an asset Extensive experience in banquets — including buffets, plated dinners, weddings, and conference events.
• Experience in reading and understanding BEOs and execution according to the details provided.
• Experience in restaurant service to be able to support the restaurant during non-banquet times as needed.
• Flexible with scheduling — available for early morning shifts (as early as 6am) and late nights for wedding functions.
• Strong leadership and people skills — will be responsible for supervising shifts, handling guest issues professionally, and coaching/mentoring junior team members.
• Work directly with the Banquet Manager and F&B Manager, successful candidate must be team-oriented and communicative
• Previous wedding experience is an asset as we do a high volume of those events.
