Summary: Oversees daily Banquet functions, Events, Meetings. Provides leadership and direction to Banquet staff in accordance to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
1 year of Food and Beverage Management and/or Food and Beverage Experience
Capable of taking direction and working with minimal supervision
Detail Oriented
Must be able to work flexible hours i.e. holidays and weekends
Having an understanding of word, excel, and outlook
Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
License Requirement(s):
Class II, Food Handlers Permit, MAST (alcohol training)
Essential Job Functions:
Participation and input toward Marketing activities
Ensures compliance with health and safety codes and policies
Exceptional customer service in a professional manner
Ensures all billing is accurate
Lead and motivate staff
Multi-task and prioritize workload to meet all deadlines and guest expectations
Participate in monthly staff meetings
Communicate daily with F&B Management and Sales teams
Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
Implement daily plans set forth by Banquet Manager
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitations and organization of Banquet areas
Position will supervise Banquet staff, in conjunction with Banquet/Food and Beverage Director
Perform any other duties requested by Manager/Director
Monitors all cash handling processes and monitors alcohol services within their assigned events
Physical/Mental Requirements:
Constantly on feet for multiple hours during the day
