Position Summary
Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to banquet guests and set tables according to event type and service standards.
Answer menu questions and coordinate wait times, order changes, availability, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests with the kitchen.
Record orders in MICROS, check guest satisfaction, maintain service-area cleanliness, complete closing duties, and process payments.
Service Responsibilities
- Serve food and alcoholic beverages and maintain event-appropriate table settings.
- Communicate menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, product availability, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
- Use MICROS to record transactions at the time of order.
- Check with guests throughout service and address their needs.
- Restock service items, complete closing duties, present accurate checks, and process payments.
Standards and Teamwork
- Follow company, safety, and security policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and meet uniform standards.
