Responsibilities
- Stitch and assemble external shade fabrics according to measurements, designs, and technical specifications.
- Cut and sew materials, perform fittings and adjustments, check quality of seams and finishes, and ensure shades are ready for installation.
- Coordinate with sales and installation teams to clarify requirements and timelines.
- Interact with customers to understand specific needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace, handle tools and machines responsibly, and follow company quality and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Strong tailoring and dressmaking skills, with experience in stitching heavy duty fabrics and working with patterns.
- Proficiency in fittings and adjustments to ensure accurate measurements and proper fabric alignment.
- Effective communication and customer service skills to collaborate with team members and address client requirements.
- Ability to use sewing machines and related tools safely and efficiently; basic maintenance of equipment is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow technical instructions and quality standards.
- Previous experience in shades, blinds, upholstery, or related fabric work is preferred.
- Willingness to work on site in Sharjah and stand for extended periods as part of production activities.
