Role Overview
The Exposure Modelling Summer Intern will join the Exposure Development team in India.
The role supports exposure model development for natural catastrophe risk and property insurance.
Skills and Competencies
- Hands-on IT skills, particularly knowledge of R, Python, or SQL.
- Interest in the social and cultural contexts that guide growth and development across geographies.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to investigate and solve problems.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Interest in catastrophic risk modelling and the property insurance industry.
- Knowledge of building construction practices across different countries is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of generative AI tools, agentic AI systems, responsible AI practices, risk management, and ethical use is advantageous.
