Role Overview
The Export Manager will lead international export operations for a globally focused organization.
The role covers export planning, documentation, customer coordination, shipping, trade compliance, freight management, and continuous improvement.
The position is full-time and fully remote from the United Arab Emirates.
Export Operations
- Lead export operations and develop aligned strategies, procedures, standards, controls, and operating calendars.
- Manage the complete export order cycle through shipment, customs clearance, delivery, invoicing, and post-shipment support.
- Coordinate export work across Sales, Logistics, Supply Chain, Customs, Finance, Warehousing, Compliance, and Customer Service.
Shipping and Freight
- Plan shipments, optimize consolidation and container utilization, and select ocean, air, road, courier, or multimodal transport where applicable.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and carriers, monitor schedules and milestones, negotiate freight rates, and manage delays and recovery plans.
- Analyze freight costs, service levels, expedited shipments, and logistics savings opportunities.
