Responsibilities
- Manage end to end export trading activities for base oils, including market analysis, price discovery, deal structuring, and execution in targeted international markets
- Monitor global commodity and fuel markets, develop and implement trading strategies, negotiate with suppliers and buyers, and optimize logistics in coordination with terminals and shipping partners
- Maintain strong relationships with refineries and key clients, manage risk and exposure, and ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and internal governance requirements
- Prepare regular performance reports, contribute to commercial planning, and collaborate with cross functional teams to support ZPetrochem's growth objectives
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Oil Trading and Trading within international energy markets
- Solid understanding of Commodity Markets and Fuel products relevant to base oil exports
- Ability to design and implement effective Trading Strategies aligned with risk and return objectives
- Experience in export operations, including contract negotiation, logistics coordination, and documentation
- Proficiency in market analysis, pricing models, and use of trading and risk management tools
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in trading or energy markets are an advantage
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with experience managing diverse stakeholders
- Proven track record in oil or petrochemical trading, preferably in base oils or related products
- Ability to work in a fast paced, performance driven environment and make time sensitive decisions
- Fluency in English; additional languages commonly used in target markets are beneficial

Role Description
- The Export Base Oil Trader role is a full time, on site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- The trader will manage end to end export trading activities for base oils, including market analysis, price discovery, deal structuring, and execution in targeted international markets.
