About the Role
CMETS is hiring experienced rail automation professionals for rail infrastructure projects in the Middle East. Candidates should have 5+ years in rail/metro automation with hands-on expertise in PLC, RTU, SCADA, and Honeywell systems.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and commission PLC, RTU, HMI, and SCADA based control systems for rail infrastructure projects.
- Prepare, review, and implement control philosophy, FDS, Cause & Effect Matrix, IO Lists, technical submittals, wiring diagrams, and panel drawings.
- Develop and modify control logic, interlocks, alarms, and operational sequences.
- Configure and integrate PLC systems, RTUs, HMI/SCADA platforms, communication interfaces, and industrial networks.
- Handle third party system integration and interface coordination.
- Perform FAT, SAT, troubleshooting, and site commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal engineering teams.
- Ensure project execution complies with technical specifications, rail standards, safety regulations, and deadlines.
- Support documentation, testing reports, as built submissions, and final project handover.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Rail / Metro / Railway Automation Projects
- Strong hands on knowledge of PLC, RTU, SCADA, HMI, and Control Systems
- Experience with Honeywell systems is highly preferred / mandatory
- Experience in system integration, testing, and commissioning
- Strong troubleshooting and fault finding capability
- Good understanding of control panel architecture and instrumentation
- Ability to manage engineering and site activities under tight project schedules

- Network architecture and control system integration
- FAT / SAT documentation and commissioning reports
