Position Overview
The position is Factory Manager cum Operations Manager in the glass and aluminium fabrication industry.
The role is based in Dubai, UAE, and requires a minimum of five years of UAE experience in a similar role.
The manager will oversee glass and aluminium fabrication operations, production, manpower, workflow, quality, materials, and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage factory operations, production schedules, manpower, workflow, productivity, production costs, and efficiency.
- Supervise fabrication of glass and aluminium doors, windows, partitions, shower enclosures, curtain walls, balustrades, and related products.
- Manage workers, supervisors, installers, and subcontractors and coordinate with Projects, Design, Procurement, Sales, and Installation teams.
- Monitor quality against approved drawings and specifications and check fabrication and technical drawings.
- Ensure material availability, minimize wastage, maintain production records, and coordinate scheduled deliveries to project sites.
- Implement quality control, safety, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures and resolve production or technical issues.
- Improve factory processes to increase productivity and reduce material wastage.
