About the Role
Ear Care Medical Center in Dubai is seeking an Experienced Audiologist with a BSc in Audiology and 3-5 years of experience. The role involves conducting hearing evaluations, fitting hearing aids, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities
- Counsel and instruct clients on techniques to improve hearing or speech impairments
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of hearing and speech/language disorders to determine diagnoses and treatment plans
- Fit and dispense assistive devices, such as hearing aids, based on clients' needs
- Maintain accurate and up to date client records
- Monitor clients' progress and discharge them from treatment upon achieving goals
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, psychologists, and other healthcare personnel to plan and conduct treatment programs
- Recommend appropriate assistive devices and make referrals to additional medical or educational services
- Provide guidance and expertise to educators and other medical staff on speech or hearing related topics
- Conduct or oversee research on hearing or speech topics and report findings
- Develop and supervise hearing screening programs
- Fit and calibrate cochlear implants, providing rehabilitation
- Instruct clients, parents, teachers, or employers on effective communication strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Audiology
- 3 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within a hospital setting
- Valid MOH license/Evaluation letter
- Fluent English language skills
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Postgraduate diploma in Audiology preferred
- Proficiency in Arabic preferred

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate and up to date client records, documenting initial evaluations and discharge information.
- Monitor clients' progress and discharge them from treatment upon achieving their goals.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, psychologists, and other healthcare personnel to plan and conduct treatment programs.
- Recommend appropriate assistive devices and make referrals to additional medical or educational services as necessary.
- Provide guidance and expertise to educators and other medical staff on speech or hearing related topics.
- Conduct or oversee research on hearing or speech topics and report findings to contribute to the development of procedures, technology, or treatments.
- Develop and supervise hearing screening programs to identify potential hearing impairments.
- Fit and calibrate cochlear implants, providing rehabilitation to aid in adjustment to listening with implant amplification systems.
- Instruct clients, parents, teachers, or employers on effective communication strategies to avoid miscommunication.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Audiology is a mandatory requirement.
- Postgraduate diploma in Audiology is preferred.
- 3 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within a hospital setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
- Proficiency in computer applications is necessary.
- A valid MOH license/Evaluation letter is mandatory.
- Fluent English language skills are required, while proficiency in Arabic is preferred.

- Pay: AED6,000.00 AED8,000.00 per month
