Responsibilities
- Resolve guest calls, requests, and problems by contacting appropriate departments.
- Use sales techniques to optimize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty.
- Provide guest recognition gifts and promote brand awareness internally and externally.
- Process Marriott Rewards point cancellations and enter loyalty information into reservation software.
- Process room reservations, changes, requests, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or email.
- Handle guest calls, questions, requests, and concerns according to service standards.
- Support Sales and Marketing with filing, emails, transcription, faxing, and other office tasks.
- Assist management with employee training and motivation while serving as a role model.
- Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information, and safeguard company property.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, prepare accurate documents, and use proper telephone protocol.
- Build positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
- Monitor performance and quality standards and perform other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.
Desired qualifications
- Secondary school diploma or GED equivalent is listed as a desired qualification.
- At least two years of related work experience is listed as a desired qualification.
- No supervisory experience is required.
- No license or certification is required.
Workplace
- The role is based at the St. Regis property in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.
