Responsibilities
- Contact appropriate person or department to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems
- Use sales techniques to optimize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott
- Determine and award gifts to guests as appreciation (e.g., reward points, show tickets, gift certificates)
- Process requests to cancel Marriott Rewards points
- Process all room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail
- Enter Marriott Rewards information into appropriate software when taking guest reservations
- Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns
- Perform general office duties to support Sales and Marketing (e.g., filing, emailing, transcribing, faxing)
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- At least 2 years of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance
