Position overview

Core responsibilities

• Resolve guest calls, requests, questions, and problems through coordination with Sales, Data Administration, Accounting, and other departments.
• Use sales techniques and upselling to maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty.
• Process reservations, changes, cancellations, guest requests, and Marriott Rewards point redemption requests.
• Enter Marriott Rewards information into the appropriate software when taking guest reservations.
• Perform filing, emailing, typing, faxing, and other office duties supporting Sales and Marketing.
• Assist management with training and motivating employees while serving as a role model.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, respond professionally, and maintain positive working relationships.
• Monitor performance to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Follow company policies, protect company assets, maintain confidentiality, and uphold professional appearance standards.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Preferred qualifications

• At least 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is required.

Schedule and workplace

• The schedule is full time.
• The position is located at Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
• The role is not remote.
