An opportunity has arisen for a Executive - Retail Leasing to join Dubai Holding Asset Management. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

The Executive – Retail Leasing will support the retail leasing function by managing day-to-day leasing activities, coordinating with tenants and prospective retailers, supporting lease negotiations, and ensuring optimum occupancy and rental performance across the assigned retail portfolio.

Support the leasing team in achieving occupancy, revenue, and leasing targets across the retail portfolio.

Identify and approach potential tenants in line with the mall/asset tenant mix and leasing strategy.

Manage enquiries from prospective tenants and coordinate property viewings.

Prepare leasing proposals, commercial comparisons, tenant profiles, and other leasing documentation.

Assist with negotiations on rental rates, lease terms, incentives, fit-out periods, and other commercial conditions.

Maintain strong relationships with existing tenants and support tenant retention initiatives.

Coordinate with tenants, legal, finance, property management, operations, marketing, and other internal departments to ensure smooth execution of leases.

Monitor lease expiries, renewals, vacancies, and upcoming leasing opportunities.

Maintain accurate leasing records, tenant databases, reports, and pipeline information.

Support preparation of weekly/monthly leasing reports and management presentations.

Conduct market research on competing malls, rental rates, tenant movements, and retail market trends in Dubai.

Assist in ensuring the tenant mix remains aligned with the asset's positioning, customer profile, and commercial strategy.

Follow up on lease documentation, approvals, deposits, payments, handovers, and other pre-opening requirements.

Support the onboarding of new tenants and coordinate with relevant stakeholders until store opening.

Monitor tenant performance and provide relevant market/tenant insights to the leasing management team.

Ensure all leasing activities comply with company policies, approval procedures, and applicable UAE regulations.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business administration , Real Estate, Marketing, Finance, or a related field .

2–5 years of experience in retail leasing, commercial real estate, mall management, or a related field.

Experience in the Dubai/UAE retail market is highly desirable.

Good understanding of retail leasing principles, tenant mix, rental structures, and commercial negotiations.

Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.

Good analytical and financial skills, with the ability to understand leasing proposals and commercial terms.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint .

Ability to manage multiple leasing transactions and stakeholders simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

UAE real estate/retail market knowledge would be an advantage.
