Executive – Regional Network Control Centre

Description and Requirements

• Position Overview:
• The Executive – Regional Network Control Centre is responsible for real-time monitoring and control of surface network movements within the region. The role focuses on tracking vehicle movements, monitoring schedule adherence, managing exceptions, and coordinating with operations teams to minimize delays and service disruptions.
• This role acts as the first line of operational control and escalation for regional surface network performance. Job Purpose:
• To ensure uninterrupted surface network operations by providing real-time monitoring, exception management, and coordination support, enabling adherence to committed TATs and service standards across the regional logistics network. Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• Network Monitoring & Control
• Monitor real-time movement of surface vehicles across regional routes using tracking and telematics systems.
• Track adherence to planned schedules, departure times, and arrival timelines.
• Identify delays, deviations, and exceptions impacting network performance.
• Exception Management & Escalation
• Flag transit delays, route deviations, vehicle breakdowns, and operational disruptions.
• Coordinate with fleet, hub, and line-haul teams to initiate corrective actions.
• Escalate critical exceptions to Regional SFC Fleet & Network Manager as per defined protocols.
• Schedule & TAT Adherence
• Track key TAT milestones across first-mile, middle-mile, and last-mile handovers.
• Support recovery actions to minimize service impact during delays.
• Ensure timely communication of potential service risks to stakeholders.
