Role Overview
SmartQ is seeking an Executive - Operations to oversee and improve daily cafeteria and food-service operations.
The role focuses on operational efficiency, client and team coordination, vendor management, service quality, and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Promote the SmartQ Ordering App and explain its benefits, convenience, and available offers.
- Help users download and use the app, place orders, and make digital-wallet payments.
- Coordinate menu changes with food partners and the technology team, including app updates, notifications, and banners.
- Perform cafe hygiene checks and hourly governance reviews, resolve issues, and report incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Collect employee and client feedback while supporting timely, high-quality service delivery.
- Monitor cafeteria displays, counters, service areas, and SOP compliance.
- Inspect work areas, oversee waste disposal, maintain HSE records and temperature logs, and report deviations.
- Ensure safe equipment use and report equipment downtime to the relevant departments.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of relevant experience is required.
- A graduate qualification or diploma in hotel management is required.
- Strong communication skills in English and the local language are required.
