A local asset management firm is seeking an Executive Manager to lead investment product development and commercialization across public and private markets.
The role combines buy-side investment and product development expertise with fundraising, client relationship management, and leadership of a small sales team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and management of investment products across public and private markets.
- Drive fundraising and asset growth through institutional and high-net-worth client relationships.
- Present investment products and strategies to prospective investors.
- Identify product opportunities based on market trends and investor demand.
- Manage and develop a small sales team, including target setting and performance support.
- Coordinate with investment, legal, compliance, and operations teams to launch products.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field is required.
- Applicants need 5–12+ years of experience in a buy-side asset management, private equity, or private markets firm.
- Strong private markets experience in private equity, private credit, real estate, or other alternatives is required.
- Experience in product development, fund management, investment management, or a similar role is required.
- Proven client-facing fundraising or investment sales experience is required.
- Experience managing investment products from development through launch is required.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring a sales team is required.
- CFA or CAIA certification is advantageous.
