Job Summary
Manage daily shift operations for Housekeeping, Recreation or Health Club, and applicable Laundry departments.
Direct and work with employees to ensure guestrooms, public spaces, and employee areas are clean and well maintained.
Support guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED plus two years of housekeeping or related professional experience.
- Alternatively, a two-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major with no work experience required.
Managing Housekeeping Operations
- Communicate guest room status to the Front Desk in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work with Engineering on guestroom maintenance needs.
- Supervise the general cleaning schedule and prepare work assignments.
- Inventory supplies and assist with ordering guestroom supplies, cleaning supplies, and uniforms.
- Supervise daily housekeeping shift operations and ensure compliance with policies, standards, and procedures.
- Support inspections of guestrooms and public spaces and follow up on areas needing attention.
