Job Description
Engineering role focused on cold-chain refrigeration, facility utilities, material-handling equipment, safety systems, and preventive maintenance.
Maintenance and Engineering
- Operate, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems.
- Repair and maintain reach trucks, forklifts, BOPTs, HPTs, docks, doors, and refrigerated trucks.
- Maintain electrical and instrumentation systems, including panels, distribution boards, UPS systems, stabilizers, and batteries.
- Maintain DG sets, earth pits, lightning arresters, and water pumps.
- Plan and activate preventive maintenance and maintain its records.
Safety and Compliance
- Check hydrants, sprinklers, fire alarms, public-address systems, CCTV, and fire extinguishers.
- Organize safety training and maintain safety records.
- Conduct mock drills for fire, evacuation, electrocution, and medical emergencies.
- Report near misses, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts.
Reporting and Records
- Prepare COD, checklist, breakdown, incident, and non-conformance reports.
- Maintain ISO files, history cards, data logger records, product temperatures, compressor logs, and consumption records.
