Master's degree.

Seven (7) years of experience in teaching and administration and supervision. Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience

Postgraduate educational license with endorsement(s) designated as appropriate to the assignment.

Administration and supervision PreK-12 endorsement.

Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, functions, and current trends in school improvement and accreditation.

Knowledge of effective teaching and learning, evidence-based practices, and the use of needs assessments to guide school supports.

Knowledge of program evaluation, implementation monitoring, and applicable grant administration requirements.

Ability to identify and describe effective instructional practice and how to provide feedback and coaching to improve school instruction.

Strong organizational and strategic planning skills.

Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting.

Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.

Ability to manage and develop fiscal, physical, and human resources successfully.

Ability to facilitate group processes, engage in conflict resolution, and promote positive decision-making between leadership and staff to build consensus.

Ability to identify effective instructional practices and provide guidance and coaching that strengthen school capacity.

Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with personnel assigned to schools, other departments, public entities, and citizens.

Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups.

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
