Leads and oversees a department of over 100+ staff members and an operating budget of approximately $80M.
In addition, oversees capital projects related to evolving information technology needs.
Directs the delivery of information technology services to schools and offices for Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS), including the learning management system, student information systems, web services, and business software.
Position oversees data security, strategic technology planning, system-wide one on one computer initiative, disaster recovery planning, continuity of operations planning, e-rate program, systems integrity, applications programming and networking of voice, video, and data communications.
Ensures that the department’s operations support the system-wide goals and priorities.
Offices include Network Support Services, IT Operations, IT Security, Enterprise Solutions, and Enterprise Resource Planning.
