About QVCA
QVenture Capital Association is Qatar's first national venture capital association, launched in May 2025 under the auspices of the Qatar Economic Forum.
The Association is scaling from its inaugural year into a self-sustaining institution serving Qatar's venture capital ecosystem.
Role Overview
The Executive Director owns fundraising, membership growth, programming, advocacy, marketing, governance, finance, and team leadership.
The role reports directly to the Board of Founding Members and serves as QVCA's public face and chief operator.
The successful candidate will build trusted relationships with senior leaders across Qatar and the wider Middle East while delivering hands-on programs and outcomes.
Growth and Programming
- Build and close fundraising and sponsorship pipelines and cultivate institutional and strategic partners.
- Drive membership acquisition and retention across membership tiers.
- Negotiate member benefits with third-party ecosystem partners.
- Organize investor workshops and educational programs, curate curricula, and secure subject matter experts and facilitators.
