The Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Executive Communications Manager to lead strategic communications for senior executives and leadership teams.
  • The ideal candidate will develop executive messaging, manage internal and external communications, support leadership visibility, and ensure consistent, authentic, and impactful communication aligned with the organization's vision, values, and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement executive communication strategies, messaging frameworks, and communication plans aligned with organizational objectives, corporate brand, and leadership priorities.
  • Partner closely with executive leadership to create speeches, presentations, town hall content, executive briefings, leadership announcements, opinion articles, video scripts, social media content, and stakeholder communications.
  • Collaborate with corporate communications, marketing, public relations, human resources, investor relations, legal, corporate affairs, business units, and executive leadership to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
  • Manage executive communication calendars, leadership messaging priorities, media preparation, executive appearances, conferences, internal events, and strategic communication initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including employee engagement, leadership communication effectiveness, media reach, executive visibility, audience engagement, message adoption, communication quality, and stakeholder sentiment.
  • Develop communication strategies for organizational transformation, change management, crisis communications, mergers and acquisitions, corporate initiatives, and executive announcements while maintaining transparency and organizational alignment.
  • Conduct audience research, stakeholder analysis, communication audits, sentiment monitoring, and feedback evaluations to continuously improve executive communication effectiveness.
  • Ensure all executive communications align with organizational values, corporate governance standards, brand guidelines, legal requirements, confidentiality expectations, and reputational objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media teams, communication agencies, content creators, executive assistants, business leaders, and external stakeholders to support executive engagement initiatives.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, collaboration platforms, content management systems (CMS), social media management tools, and communication analytics solutions to monitor communication performance
  • Prepare executive communication reports, leadership dashboards, presentation materials, briefing documents, communication calendars, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop communications specialists, content creators, communication partners, and cross functional stakeholders while fostering a culture of collaboration, integrity, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, English, Corporate Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Master's degree or professional certifications in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Strategic Communications, Change Management, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • 5+ years of experience in executive communications, corporate communications, public relations, internal communications, media relations, or related roles.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting C suite executives, senior leadership teams, or enterprise communication strategies preferred.
  • Strong understanding of executive communications, leadership messaging, speechwriting, internal communications, media relations, change communications, stakeholder engagement, crisis communications, and corporate reputation management.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, presentation development, and content strategy skills with the ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences and communication channels.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, CMS platforms, collaboration tools, social media management platforms, communication analytics solutions, and presentation software.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) assisted content creation, digital communications, executive branding, employee engagement platforms, multimedia storytelling, and executive social media strategies is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, organizational, project management, and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, facilitation, coaching, and cross functional collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism while balancing executive priorities, organizational objectives, stakeholder expectations, and reputational considerations.
  • Ability to work independently in hybrid and remote environments with flexibility to support executive schedules, corporate events, and time sensitive communications when required.
