Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Executive Assistant in our Aviation division onsite at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to senior aviation executives, ensuring efficient operation and coordination at the executive level. Essential Functions Provide administrative support for Aviation executive leadership Coordinate Executive’s schedules ensuring that the most critical needs are addressed both inside and outside of the company Handle screening and redirecting calls and scheduling of department meetings Coordinate customer and supplier visits Manage all aviation segment related travel requests including making travel arrangements and other activities including any logistical support which may be required Review segment related expense reports for accuracy and completeness Prepare and organize materials needed for presentations to internal and external audiences Manage and perform special projects as warranted to support Garmin’s product development process for the aviation segment, which may include research and documentation of information and may involve little or no oversight from the Vice President or other aviation management Compose, coordinate, organize and file materials which may include highly confidential information related to associates, products, processes, customers, and business Maintain and communicate organizational changes through organizational chart maintenance for the aviation segment Basic Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent AND a minimum of 5 years of administrative support experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Excellent written and verbal communication skills Dedicated to providing quality customer service Maintain company information in strictest confidence Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Ability to type 60 wpm with accuracy Excellent proofreading skills Ability to work comfortably with people at all levels of the organization Desired Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's Degree Experience supporting executives in an aviation or electronics related industry Garmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
