The Role
Join the Systematic Macro platform of a global hedge fund and alternative investment manager.
Work closely with Portfolio Managers, Quantitative Researchers, Technology, and Operations teams.
Focus on high-quality execution across multiple asset classes and continuous process improvement.
The role reports to the Head of Central Execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute systematic macro orders across rates, FX, volatility, and commodities.
- Deliver execution across electronic and voice trading venues while maintaining best execution.
- Monitor orders and markets to improve execution quality and reduce transaction costs.
- Manage execution risks and make decisions within defined risk parameters.
- Maintain accurate trade execution and robust operational controls.
- Coordinate with Operations, Middle Office, Risk, and Technology teams across the trade lifecycle.
- Support testing and rollout of execution platforms and workflow changes.
- Maintain relationships with brokers, liquidity providers, exchanges, and execution counterparties.
- Improve execution processes, analytics, and the firm's execution framework through data-driven analysis.
