About the Role
AMF Production is seeking a full-time on-site Estimator for Joinery in Dubai. You will review architectural drawings, prepare cost estimates for joinery and fit-out works, and collaborate with project teams.

Responsibilities
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for joinery, fit out, and related fabrication works
- Quantify materials and labor, request and analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Prepare detailed BOQs, cost breakdowns, and tender submissions
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and production teams to clarify requirements and optimize material usage
- Update cost databases, track market prices, support value engineering, and assist in negotiations to help secure projects and maintain profitability
Requirements
- Strong joinery, fit out, and interior fabrication knowledge, including materials, hardware, and production methods
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications
- Cost estimation and budgeting skills, including pricing of materials, labor, and subcontracted works
- Familiarity with estimation and office software (e.g., Excel, estimation tools, ERP or job costing systems); basic CAD skills are an advantage
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines
- Effective communication and coordination skills for working with design, production, procurement, and sales teams
- Previous experience as a Joinery Estimator or in a similar role within joinery, fit out, or interior contracting
- Relevant technical qualification or diploma/degree in engineering, architecture, quantity surveying, or a related field is preferred
- Ability to work on site in Dubai, manage multiple tenders or quotations simultaneously

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Estimator for Joinery role based in Dubai.
- The Estimator will review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for joinery, fit out, and related fabrication works.

- Quantify materials and labor, request and analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations, and prepare detailed BOQs, cost breakdowns, and tender submissions.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and production teams to clarify requirements, optimize material usage, and ensure estimates align with technical and quality standards.
- Update cost databases, track market prices, support value engineering, and assist in negotiations to help secure projects and maintain profitability.
Qualifications
- Strong joinery, fit out, and interior fabrication knowledge, including materials, hardware, and production methods for kiosks, shop interiors, and custom structures.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications, with experience in take offs and quantity surveying for joinery works.
- Cost estimation and budgeting skills, including pricing of materials, labor, and subcontracted works, as well as comparison and evaluation of multiple quotations.
- Familiarity with estimation and office software (e.g., Excel, estimation tools, ERP or job costing systems); basic CAD skills are an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and coordination skills for working with design, production, procurement, and sales teams, as well as suppliers and subcontractors.
- Previous experience as a Joinery Estimator or in a similar role within joinery, fit out, or interior contracting; experience in advertising and fabrication projects is a plus.
