Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for furniture and joinery projects
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs to determine project requirements
- Perform quantity take offs and prepare material and labor cost estimates
- Coordinate with the design, production, procurement, and project teams to obtain required information
- Request and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Assist in preparing tender submissions, quotations, and cost proposals
- Maintain estimation records and update cost databases
- Ensure estimates are completed within the required deadlines while maintaining accuracy
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in furniture and joinery estimation
- Good understanding of furniture manufacturing and joinery materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOQs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of estimation software is an advantage
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimation tasks
- Customized Office Furniture: 4 years (Required)
