Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity take offs, and pricing based on drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents
- Review architectural, structural, and related project drawings to identify scope, material requirements, and cost implications
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to support competitive and accurate bid submissions
- Support tender preparation, commercial analysis, bid documentation, and submission processes
- Coordinate with internal teams to clarify technical and commercial requirements and highlight discrepancies in tender documents
- Maintain awareness of UAE market rates, local construction practices, and applicable regulations and standards relevant to estimation and tendering
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in estimation within the construction sector
- Strong knowledge of UAE local regulations, standards, tendering procedures, and market pricing
- Proven experience in cost estimation, drawing review, quotations, and bid preparation
- Mandatory experience in both industrial projects and residential projects
- Strong attention to detail, commercial awareness, and ability to work under tender deadlines
