Responsibilities
- Review architectural and interior design drawings, specifications, and technical details to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Perform quantity take offs, pricing materials and labor, obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Prepare detailed BOQs and cost summaries for client proposals
- Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and procurement teams to align estimates with design intent, budgets, and timelines
- Update estimates in response to design changes and value engineering requirements
- Assist in preparing tender documents, tracking project costs against estimates, and contributing to continuous improvement of estimation processes and cost databases
Requirements
- Strong skills in quantity take offs, cost estimation, and BOQ preparation for interior design, fit out, and furniture projects
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, technical schematics, plans, and elevations
- Experience working with estimation and spreadsheets software (e.g., MS Excel) and familiarity with project management or ERP tools
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, fixtures, and joinery relevant to luxury retail and interior environments
- Ability to obtain, compare, and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross functional teams
- Relevant experience as an Estimator in interior design, fit out, construction, or related fields; retail experience is an advantage
- Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related discipline
- Ability to work on site in Dubai and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Role Description
