Position Overview
Manage tendering, cost estimation, bid preparation, and commercial evaluation for projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead tender and bid preparation from enquiry to submission.
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, pricing, and tender documents.
- Review drawings, specifications, scope, and contract requirements.
- Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Develop competitive and commercially sound tender pricing.
- Identify cost risks, assumptions, exclusions, and opportunities.
- Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and project teams.
- Support tender clarifications, negotiations, and value engineering.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in quantity surveying, construction, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in estimation, tendering, bidding, or pre-contract roles.
- Strong knowledge of construction costs, BOQs, pricing, and contracts.
- Strong analytical, commercial, negotiation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with estimating or tendering software is an advantage.
- Construction, engineering, or large-scale project experience is preferred.
