The Estimation Engineer prepares accurate, competitive, and profitable bids for landscaping and swimming pool construction projects.
The role requires knowledge of landscaping materials, labor costs, equipment costs, and market trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for landscaping construction projects.
- Review designs, drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, and subcontractors for estimating information.
- Prepare tenders, proposals, and bids.
- Research pricing for materials, plants, labor, and pool construction requirements.
- Evaluate cost risks and opportunities.
- Maintain records of estimates, tenders, and related documentation.
- Submit accurate tender documents on time.
- Advise on value engineering options.
