Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for concrete repair and strengthening projects
- Analyze project drawings and specifications
- Conduct site visits where required
- Research materials and labor costs
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and tender documents
- Coordinate with engineering and project teams to clarify technical requirements
- Support negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors
- Update estimation databases to reflect current market rates
- Contribute to value engineering proposals
- Ensure alignment with company standards and client expectations
- Support project tracking from pre bid to award
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong project estimation capabilities, including Project Estimation and BOQ preparation
- Solid technical foundation in Civil Engineering, preferably with experience in concrete structures or repair works
- Effective Negotiation skills
- Research skills to analyze market rates, materials, and construction methods
- Proficiency in estimation and quantity surveying software; familiarity with MS Excel and construction related tools
- Strong analytical, numerical, and attention to detail abilities
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
- Arabic language skills are an advantage
- Prior experience in estimation or quantity surveying within construction or infrastructure projects in the Middle East is preferred

Role Description
- The Estimation Engineer at RESTORE will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for concrete repair and strengthening projects.
- Day to day tasks include analyzing project drawings and specifications, conducting site visits where required, researching materials and labor costs, and preparing detailed cost breakdowns and tender documents.
- The role involves coordinating with engineering and project teams to clarify technical requirements, supporting negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors, and updating estimation databases to reflect current market rates.
- The Estimation Engineer will also contribute to value engineering proposals, ensure alignment with company standards and client expectations, and support project tracking from pre bid to award.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong project estimation capabilities, including Project Estimation and BOQ preparation.
- Candidates should possess a solid technical foundation in Civil Engineering, preferably with experience in concrete structures or repair works.
- Candidates should possess effective Negotiation skills for working with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Research skills to analyze market rates, materials, and construction methods.
