Estimation Engineer – Aluminium Windows, Doors & Facade

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates, quotations, BOQs, and material cost calculations for aluminium windows, doors, and façade projects.
• Study architectural, structural, and fabrication drawings.
• Perform quantity take-offs for profiles, glass, hardware, accessories, and other materials.
• Calculate material, wastage, labour, fabrication, installation, and project-related costs.
• Coordinate with design, production, procurement, sales, and project execution teams.
• Review specifications, drawings, BOQs, and client requirements before preparing quotations.
• Compare supplier and vendor material rates and maintain updated rate information.
• Prepare competitive and commercially viable quotations.
• Identify drawing or BOQ discrepancies and coordinate clarifications.
• Revise estimates and quotations when project information changes.
• Maintain estimation records, cost sheets, quotation details, and commercial documentation.
• Support sales and project teams with cost-related and technical information.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in the aluminium windows, doors, facade, or fenestration industry.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, architecture, or a related engineering field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of aluminium profiles, windows, doors, curtain walls, façades, glazing, hardware, and accessories.
• Good understanding of architectural and technical drawings.
• Experience with BOQs, quantity take-offs, material calculations, costing, and quotation preparation.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and estimation-related software or tools.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet estimation deadlines.

Compensation

• Pay is ₹385,000–₹420,000 per year.

• Work location is in person.
