Role Description
- This is a full-time, on-site role for a Estimation and Design Engineer (Lighting) based in Dubai.
- The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, estimation, and execution of lighting projects.
- The role involves preparing technical documentation, coordinating with internal teams and clients, and ensuring project requirements are met efficiently.
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) based on drawings and project requirements
- Develop quotations and cost estimations for lighting projects
- Prepare technical submittals in compliance with project specifications
- Perform lighting calculations using Dialux
- Create and review drawings using AutoCAD
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and clients
- Support client presentations and technical discussions
- Assist in project evaluation and ensure compliance with standards
- Experience in lighting design and estimation is preferred
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Equivalent Degree
- Basic knowledge of lighting design principles and LED systems
- Strong understanding of estimation and technical documentation
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks
