Join us as a Estimating Student for our Ottawa district, within our Canadian Buildings sector for 4 months starting January 2027. Depending on your assigned project as a Estimating Student , you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
Responsibilities
- Assists with the preparation of tender documents.
- Contacts trade contractors and suppliers for pursuit support.
- Obtains and builds unit-pricing.
- Performs and updates quantity take-offs.
- Updates request for information lists.
- Learns to understand trade scope definitions and local market conditions.
- Learns to understand varied contractual terms & conditions.
Qualifications
- Working towards a degree or diploma in a civil engineering or architectural technology related field.
- Ability to perform quantity take-offs.
