About the Role
CAHEAD TECHNOLOGIES SOUTH AFRICA seeks an experienced ESRI GIS Technical Architect for a 1-year contract in Abu Dhabi. The role involves designing end-to-end ESRI architecture for Utilities clients, defining standards, leading workshops, and owning solution documentation.

Responsibilities
- Design end to end ESRI architecture for Utilities clients in Abu Dhabi
- Define standards for data, services, security, and integrations across GIS landscape
- Lead technical workshops with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate to architecture
- Review designs, guide engineers, ensure best practices for performance and scalability
- Own solution documentation, HLD/LLD, and sign off on technical deliverables
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in GIS architecture and ESRI technologies
- Expertise in ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, Portal for ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Server
- Strong experience in GIS solutions for Utilities/Transmission & Distribution sector
- Experience in solution architecture, client workshops, and technical governance
- Ability to design end to end ESRI architecture and define standards for data, services, security, and integrations
- Experience with AWS/Azure cloud architecture and ArcGIS Utility Network (good to have)
