The role covers primary classes from Grade 1 to Grade 5.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's or master's degree in English with a certified teaching qualification such as B.Ed or a diploma in education is required.
- Candidates must hold at least one TEFL, TESOL, TOEFL, or CELTA certification.
- Phonics training and certification are required.
- Previous teaching experience in an ELL context and fluency in English are required.
- Genuinity and equivalency qualifications are preferred.
Key Work Responsibilities
- Implement instructional activities that create meaningful and active learning experiences.
- Maintain classroom discipline, materials, records, and assessment documentation.
- Adapt instructional resources and methods for varied student needs and learning styles.
- Communicate with students, parents, colleagues, and other professionals.
- Prepare and moderate examination question papers.
- Upload lesson plans, worksheets, calendars, circulars, and notices to the school ERP portal.
- Participate in training, meetings, peer observation, extracurricular activities, and co-curricular programs.
- Keep teaching methods and subject knowledge current and support student performance goals.
