Role Overview
Provide front-line support for equities trading and middle office platforms across the Middle East region.
Join the wider EMEA support function as part of a globally distributed team.
Ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of vendor-provided and in-house trading systems.
Work closely with trading desks, middle office teams, technology groups, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- Provide first-line production support for equities trading and middle office platforms.
- Troubleshoot real-time issues for traders and business users to minimize trading disruption.
- Monitor system health, trade flows, and platform performance.
- Support Fidessa, ULLink, and critical in-house systems.
- Escalate and manage incidents with external vendor support desks through resolution.
- Collaborate with second-line support, development teams, and global support counterparts.
- Perform root cause investigations and document findings and improvement recommendations.
- Assist with releases, system enhancements, and configuration changes.
- Maintain incident, issue, and resolution records.
- Improve support processes, monitoring, and documentation.
